Thank you to everyone for making ‘World Book Day’, 2024, such a success. The children looked absolutely amazing in their costumes so thank you all for your support and creativity.

Your children thoroughly enjoyed the day as they have not only been able to discuss their favourite book characters but to also share their love of reading. The staff dressing up has also been a highlight for the children as they have enjoyed playing, ‘Guess the Character!’.

For Years 1 to 6 it has been an extra special day as they have participated in interactive, hands-on Science Workshops led by a Science professor. This is in preparation for ‘British Science Week’ next week, whose theme is ‘Time’.

‘World Book Day’ is an important yearly event on our school calendar as it not only promotes literacy across the school but it also celebrates the love of reading.
